12 gauge shotgun cartridge bottle opener, corkscrew and double barrel stand set. A great gift for any countryside or shooting enthusiast.
The body of the opener is hand forged from mild steel to match the diameter, length and look of a standard 12 gauge cartridge. A genuine brass end cap is then bonded into place.
The Corkscrew is also matched to the size and style of a 12 gauge cartridge and includes a bar to increase the leverage on the corkscrew when removing more stubborn corks. The bar also has a magnet mounted to it for attaching it to the stand when not in use.
The double-barreled stand has a walnut base, a nod to the popular wood used for gun stocks.
The set is finished in a clear acrylic lacquer, ironpaste or a more traditional beeswax.
The price includes 1 bottle opener, 1 corkscrew (and bar), 1 stand and delivery to a UK address (delivery outside of the UK is not included in the price and will be calculated at checkout).
Please note, although the set is finished in a protective coating, it should not be stored in damp environments. If any part of the set gets wet, it should be dried with a paper towel before being stored. The brass caps can be polished using Brasso or a similar metal polish. Be careful not to allow the polish to remove the finish on the steel components. The base can be cleaned using a wax furniture polish.
