A solid steel door stop to suit both modern and more traditional homes. Approx 70mm x 50mm in size and weighing approx 1.3kg
This hand forged door stop starts life as a length of 70mm diameter mild steel. It is cut to length, heated in the forge, hammered and stamped with my touchmark before being hot brushed and allowed to cool. The handle is forged from a single piece of steel, forged under the power hammer, which is securely bolted to the base.
The door stop is finished in an acrylic clearcoat. A felt pad on the base protects the surface underneath which also provides for additional grip on carpetted surfaces.
